As of September 2016, MCH Group has joined Angus Montgomery and founding director Neha Kirpal as co-owners of India Art Fair.

Established in 1916, MCH Group is a leading international group of live-marketing companies with a comprehensive services network spanning the entire exhibition and event market. MCH Group organizes and hosts around 90 exhibitions, including the globally leading Baselworld show, and Art Basel in Basel, Miami Beach and Hong Kong. Design and Regional Art Fairs is a new unit of MCH Group which is building a portfolio of leading regional art fairs, led by Marco Fazzone, Managing Director. India is the first region of focus and India Art Fair is the first step in realising MCH Group’s ambition to create a portfolio of leading regional art fairs.

Angus Montgomery Arts consults, establishes and develops art exhibitions worldwide. Founded in 1895, AMA has over 40 years experience in the contemporary arts sphere, establishing successful fairs globally. AMA founded the London Art Fair in London in 1986, which still exists as Art London at the Business Design Centre and created Art LA which ran for six years until 1992. AMA was a co-founder of ArtHK, now Basel HK. Along with the India Art Fair, AMA is also the co-founder of Art Central Hong Kong and PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai and San Francisco.

Neha Kirpal founded India Art Fair in 2008, and under her stewardship the fair has gained global recognition as the premier destination for modern and contemporary art in the South Asian region. Since it’s inception, the fair has become central to the rapid development of India and the region’s cultural reputation and has grown into one of the most anticipated and well attended art fairs in the world. Neha continues to remain involved with the business as an advisory consultant and a minority shareholder, to support the art fair development. Beyond this Neha will be consulting with MCH for developing other initiatives in the region.
