The Hypostatic Transformation

at Nature Morte

Nature Morte is pleased to present a group show of four artists that spans generations, mediums and disciplines, but is united under the banner of abstraction. The Hypostatic Transformation is a term used in both mathematical logic and linguistics, and can be thought of a proposition that transforms the formal properties of an object or an image. Each of the artists in this exhibition — Bijoy JainVisakh MenonManu Parekh, and Raoul Rewal — takes thoughts and experiences and transforms them into pictures or objects, without the need of representational imagery.
