Prameya Art Foundation‘s exhibition curated by Shaunak Mahbubani brings together feminist artists commemorating those who have faced the greatest losses in struggles for identity and self-determination in recent years. While Aqui Thami, Tehmeena Firdos, Baaraan Ijlal, Rupali Patil, N*A*I*L*S capture sensorial moments to remember and possibly heal from current and past violence, others like Pedra Costa, Arshi Irshad Azmadzai, Anna Ehrenstein, Falani, Parmita Mukherjee, Amitesh Grover and Khusbhu Patel claim space within public, epistemological, algorithmic, and institutional realms, demanding the right for the femme-queer-trans bodies to envision their own futures. View the show in person and on the institution’s website here.
