Open Call for Artists & Designers

Calling all creatives to apply for an exciting commission! We are looking for a new design for the tent facade and are accepting expressions of interest from artists and designers.

This is a rare opportunity to see your work on the largest canvas in New Delhi during India Art Fair 2020, providing immediate exposure to a varied audience from the art sector and beyond. The concept is free to interpretation, but we welcome designs that are minimal while remaining impactful, contemporary and eye-catching. This will be a paid-for, original commission and applications will be shortlisted according to how well they translate into a large-scale format and represent the fair.

Programme Curator

We are looking for a curator to deliver a progressive, fully-integrated program of public talks, performances, and films for India Art Fair 2020. You should have appropriate academic achievements or relevant in-depth knowledge, a minimum of 3-years experience in programming and the ability to develop engaging concepts that appeal to people of all ages, abilities, and areas of interest. A strong understanding of art history and critical debates that have shaped the international art world in the past year is essential. A clear grasp of spoken and written English is also a must as is an understanding of communication with different audiences.


  • To research, develop and curate the programme of talks, performances, and films in consultation with the India Art Fair team
  • Structure the format of the program and identify speakers, contributors or materials – within a fixed budget
  • Produce text for marketing and promotional material
  • Liaise with the speakers or participants on a regular basis and coordinate their individual itineraries and transport
  • Oversee the management of the AV requirements, schedules, timings, announcements, introductions, etc.
  • Manage a small team including a programming assistant during the busy fair period

Requirements: Full-time, from 15th July 2019 to 10th February 2020

VIP Relations Manager

If you’re energetic, super organized, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, this is your moment to learn just about everything involved in the running of a major art fair. You will report directly to the External Relations Director in managing a broad range of VIP schedules and events. Knowledge of arts, culture, and Delhi is essential — relevant professional experience is preferred.


  • Support the External Relations Director on all tasks
  • Assist with managing the official VIP programme
  • Respond to incoming requests for VIP passes
  • Overseeing arrangements for regional and collateral events
  • At fair time, ensuring a superior experience for visiting individuals and groups

Requirements: Full time, from 15th October 2019 until 29 February 2020
