DIGITAL & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER 

Role type: Permanent position – Full time – Immediate start
Location: New Delhi, India  

We are looking to hire a highly dynamic and creative individual, with exceptional interpersonal and writing skills to join our team.  

You should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field, especially in ideating and creating compelling content for India Art Fair’s press and digital channels. You should be adept at ideating and executing digital marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results, and possess a keen understanding of the current trends in culture and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Ideating and implementing initiatives that enhance the brand’s visibility and reputation in the art community and beyond.
  • Developing website copy, stories, emailers, and social media posts that align with the brand’s voice and tone, and support its key messages and objectives. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, timely, and engaging.
  • Maintaining the website and social media profiles to ensure they are up-to-date, accurate, and engaging. This includes monitoring user engagement, responding to inquiries, and generating regular reports on key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Managing PR and press relations, including drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and liaising with journalists and influencers to secure media coverage. You will also be responsible for managing the fair’s presence at key industry events, such as press previews and media showcases.
  • Assisting in the preparation and drafting of various press interviews, ensuring messaging is consistent, on-brand, and aligns with the fair’s key objectives.
  • Maintaining the overall marketing budget, including managing vendor relationships, monitoring expenses, and identifying areas for cost savings or revenue generation. You will also be responsible for generating regular reports on budget performance, and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent command over English language is essential
  • Confident, creative thinker and effective team player
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage day-to-day operations
  • Excellent professional communication skills – written and verbal – to develop and execute marketing campaigns 
  • Knowledge of art, culture and creative industry to help support the fair’s marketing, content and communication activities 
  • Highly proactive work ethic and ability to work well under pressure and demanding deadlines
  • Ability to undertake flexible work hours, including late nights and weekends 
  • Ability to understand and implement basic financial plans
  • Knowledge of the Adobe software suite is preferred

GRAPHIC DESIGNER & VIDEOGRAPHER

Role type: Permanent position – Full time – Immediate start
Location: New Delhi, India 

India Art Fair is looking for an exceptionally talented and passionate individual for the role of Graphic Designer & Videographer to work alongside our Digital and Communications team. You will be in charge of developing, supporting and contributing to the fair’s creative visions for a variety of applications across print projects, digital media, and marketing collateral.

Applicants must be extremely detail-oriented and capable of fast turnaround on design assets. They should be passionate about pushing the boundaries of design and be able to respond to direction well, and in the spirit of collaboration. This role will ask the candidate to have a good command of visual identity, typography, videography, film editing, photography and 2D motion design. 3D modeling and animation skills, as well as a working knowledge of AR development, are also beneficial but not essential. 

Knowledge of the Adobe software suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) is a must. The candidate should have at least 2-3 years of working experience in the field of design.

Responsibilities

  • Apply rigor and design thinking to generate creative, original ideas to a variety of visual requirements across print, video and digital media 
  • Key print collateral include large-scale branding projects such as the India Art Fair facade and onsite signage; the Fair Guide — a comprehensive booklet listing everything the fair has to offer; and the India Art posters, which are the flag bearers of India Art Fair’s accessible and friendly public-facing design language
  • Key digital collateral include the production and editing of artist films that showcase an artist’s process in an engaging and impactful manner, and deploy a unique, fresh visual language; social media assets that position India Art Fair as the premier destination for content about South Asian art; and brand presentations and invites that appeal to a diverse variety of audiences, both online and offline
  • Explore new tools and methods of pushing the envelope of design execution and design workflows
  • Communicate proactively with India Art Fair’s Digital and Communication team and liaise with different departments and personnel to ensure a smooth design workflow and timely delivery of print and digital assets
  • Meticulous about the details of a project, including asset organization and management, while championing the role of craft in the design process
  • Passionate about unearthing the next and the new, as well as keeping up with the latest design developments and trends
  • Well-versed in presenting work creatively and articulately, and able to confidently talk through every aspect of the provided design solution
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects 
  • Encouraging and supportive of fellow designers
  • Able to undertake flexible work hours, including late nights and weekends 

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of harnessing all the features of the Adobe Suite to provide original creative solutions
  • Proven track record of delivering premium design in a timely and efficient manner
  • Expert eye and taste for strategic design and craft

Internships

India Art Fair is seeking personable, energetic and talented individuals for paid internships lasting for one week to fifteen days, around the fair, for the following teams. You will receive a stipend and an official certificate for your participation.

Highlights

Our internship programme runs through the year. You will be assigned a mentor during your time and will receive a stipend for your participation. Highlights

Our Volunteering programme runs during the India Art Fair event and will require a commitment of 10 working days. You will be assigned a line manager during your time and will receive an official certificate of completion at the end of your volunteer programme.
