Brought to you by Art Incept, the Inception Grant 2024 is now accepting applications from South Asian artists.
This year, they have 5 grants, 3 collaborations, and a year-long mentorship program, with a total commitment of INR 5,00,000. An internal jury will shortlist candidate whose work will be showcased at the Inception Grant Finalist Show.
Criteria:
- Artist from South Asia ages 21-35 years. Artists from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be considered part of the process.
- Practice must fit the contemporary genre. Format and media are not a constraint.
- Illustrations, graphic design, decorative art, and AI-generated art are not within the mandate.
- Applicants must be at an early stage of their career, a student, or an emerging artist in the process of launching their career.
- Artists represented by any gallery are not eligible.
- Applicants must be individuals (or part of a collective) applying on their own behalf.
