Noelle Kadar Studios is looking for a Programme Manager to be responsible for organising programming, managing exhibitions, and ensuring the smooth running of the Art Space. The candidate will be able to contribute to capacity building, upskilling, and sector development work, as well as audience engagement and stakeholder relationships, arts research, programming and curation, events and performances, and other related activities. At the senior level, the candidate will be able to oversee and train junior team members and take ownership of key projects for the company.

Key Roles / Responsibilities

Strategic Input:

  • Support the Company Director in managing projects, marketing, and business strategy
  • Stay informed of industry developments, key cultural leaders, and other sector-related events
  • Keep in touch with global movements in arts and culture marketing

Project Management:

  • Lead key projects and teams
  • Create project plans, timelines and reporting processes and other tools for project management • Develop regular reports for internal stakeholders
  • Handle and oversee shipping and storage for exhibitions

Marketing:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media campaigns and social media presence for the company and associated pages/offerings
  • Optimise marketing automation
  • Maintain ongoing promotion and advertising of the gallery
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Manage press relations and engagement

Outreach:

  • Build, manage and grow relationships with key outreach partners
  • Develop and deploy outreach plans periodically

Client Management:

  • Take ownership of client conversations and reporting, deliverables, and communications with clients

Team Management:

  • Manage team time and resources across projects
  • Support and encourage team upskilling and oversee project delivery

Essential Qualifications

  • A background in contemporary art and art history with a gallery and/ or marketing background is helpful
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent oral communication skills in Hindi
  • Ability to produce clear, coherent creative briefs and project reports
  • Good writing skills, and an understanding of how to approach diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to work on at least three projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage teams, report regularly and keep an eye on team and organisational upskilling
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Good conflict management skills

Essential Experience 

  • At least 4 combined years of experience with gallery Management, project management and /or marketing
  • Prior experience in working for a structured company and managing teams
  • Prior experience in working in the arts and culture sector
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Slack, Trello etc., and with digital advertising platforms,
    social media marketing tools and mass mailing software is ideal

  • Strong attention to detail and good observation skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including conflict resolution

Working Days 
5-6 day work week (Tuesday – Saturday)
Sunday on occasion
