Pro Helvetia New Delhi is accepting applications for the role of Programme Manager: South Asia & Vietnam from India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
About the role:
– Manage projects across different disciplines (residencies, tours, projects), showcasing Swiss arts in South Asia and Vietnam, developing exchanges and collaborations between artists from Switzerland and the region.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage projects across different disciplines (residencies, tours, projects), showcasing Swiss arts in South Asia and Vietnam, developing exchanges and collaborations between artists from Switzerland and the region.
- Develop exchange projects and process applications in different art disciplines.
- Assist the Head of Office with planning and reporting, as well as representing Pro Helvetia in the region when required.
- Develop networks and provide specialist input in support of our Regional Programme for Arts and Culture.
- General administrative and organisational tasks as required.
Role Requirements:
- Four-year university degree or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cultural project and programme management.
- Administrative expertise, including financial management.
- Strong operational knowledge of computer software (Microsoft or Google Docs suite).
- Thorough knowledge of the contemporary cultural scenes in South Asia & Vietnam and professional experience across various art disciplines (performance, visual art, music, design).
- Familiarity with the international (incl. European) arts environment and strong cross-cultural sensibilities.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken); knowledge of French, and/or German is an asset.
- Experience with the production of cultural events.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills and willingness to work hands-on.
- Willingness to occasionally work irregular hours (evenings and weekends) and travel for business.
