MAP Academy & Nalli Silks are now accepting applications for a Research and Educator Fellowship. Aimed at engaging and deepening understanding of South Asian textiles, the Fellowships support projects on lesser-known textiles, practices and histories in South Asia, and practices that seek to democratise knowledge through curriculums, fieldwork, and engagement with educational and cultural institutions.

Each Fellowship comes with a grant of INR 5.5 lakhs.

Applications will be reviewed by a five-member Advisory Committee comprising Mayank Mansingh Kaul, Dr Annapurna Garimella, Manju Sara Rajan, Lavanya Nalli (representing Nalli Silks), and Mandara Vishwanath (representing the MAP Academy)

Deadline for all applications is 30th September 2024.
