Aranyani Sacred Nature Pavilion

4-13 February, 2026

Sunder Nursery, New Delhi, India

Aranyani announces the launch of the Aranyani Pavilion, a landmark ecological art and architectural project opening at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi on Wednesday, 4th February 2026. Founded by conservation scientist and creative director Tara Lal, Aranyani is a conservation and creative arts initiative focused on renewing public connection with the natural world.

Titled Sacred Nature, the Pavilion is conceptualised by Aranyani founder Tara Lal and designed in collaboration with T__M.space, the architectural studio led by Tanil Raif and Mario Serrano Puche. Structured as a spiral walk-through installation inspired by India’s sacred groves, the Pavilion draws on sacred geometry, movement and material to create a continuous path of light, shadow, texture and sound, culminating in a central shrine anchored by a stone monolith.

The structure is constructed using upcycled Lantana camara wood, an invasive species brought to India by the Portuguese and British from Latin America as an ornamental plant, and holds a living canopy of over 40 native plant species. In doing so, the Pavilion embeds ecological repair at the heart of its architectural language.

The Pavilion has been executed with The Works and Ekarth Studio, with sound design by Gaurav Raina and Komorebi, and will be accompanied by a public programme of talks, performances, and guided tours.
