Asia Society India Centre announces the virtual sixth edition of the Asia Arts Game Changer Awards India.
The Asia Arts Game Changer Awards India is an annual marquee convening of Asia Society that honours visionaries across the field of art and culture. The Awards pay tribute to artists and arts professionals who have made a significant contribution to the development of modern and contemporary art in Asia and who inspire a deeper empathy and understanding of the world through their work. Co-Chaired by Dr. Pheroza Godrej, Mrs. Sangita Jindal, Mrs. Kiran Nadar and Ms. Radhika Chopra, this year’s special gala event being held virtually continues to spotlight South Asia by felicitating three exceptional artists: Himmat Shah, Ark Foundation Asia Arts Vanguard Awardee, India; Sumakshi Singh, Emami Art Asia Arts Future Awardee, India; and Jasmine Nilani Joseph, DBF Asia Arts Future Awardee, Sri Lanka. The event will also feature a musical performance by the soulful Pakistani singer and composer, Zeb Bangash.
