Bangladesh Art Week presents its first event program in Dubai in collaboration with Gulf Photo Plus, Undefined Territory, in addition to two other shows taking place in parallel. The exhibition curated by Rama Ghanem presents the work of Shumon Ahmed, Palash Bhattacharjee, Marzia Farhana, Shahria Sharmin, and Munem Wasif, encompassing photography and film presentations. The works unravel notions of ‘territory’, whether taken to mean the politics of a defined geography, structures of language as propagated by coloniality, or passage of time as palpable to a degree of rigidity and stagnation.
