The first-ever Indian artist to give the BMW Art Talk, Dia Mehhta Bhupal makes us look at everyday scenes with new eyes.

Trained at Parsons in New York and Central Saint Martins in London, the artist now lives and works in Hyderabad, where she creates intricate sets of spaces like movie theatres, bookshops and grocery stores, with an aim to capture private moments in public spaces.

In this BMW Art Talk, she will tell us what an image means to her, how the cities she lived in influenced her art– and the role of an artist in imagining a sustainable future.
