Rahaab Allana, curator of The Alkazi Collection, will talk about the picture postcard which emerged in the 1890s in India and soon became a swift channel of communication between families, friends and businesses across the world. Omar Khan’s book titled Paper Jewels: Postcards from the Raj on this subject was also a springboard of an impressive exhibition that was put together by Rahaab at Art Heritage Gallery in 2018. The event will take place in the CMYK bookshop, located at the back of Hall 2.
