Art Musings presents Braided, showcasing works in mixed media by contemporary Indian photographer Sheetal Mallar.
Going back to her core relationships, the artist looks at loss and how memories function. The work is about revealing these layers, using photography, drawings and text that remains an ongoing dialogue between her and her mother. The exhibition also releases the artists self-published photobook, which features photographs, drawings and text, and explores intergenerational intimacies.
