Gallery Threshold is proud to present Immortal Tales, Fantastical Fables, a solo show of works by Debjani Bhardwaj, who successfully creates fantasy worlds that evoke curiosity, imagination, and wonder from her audience as they look into small windows containing three-dimensional stories.
The artworks in this exhibition are inspired by animals in Panchatantra tales and the human-animal hybrids in Arabian folk tales. These animals connote the animal traits observable in nature but also map a human personality as the animals speak, think and make evil plans or exact revenge like humans.
