Kailash-Manasarovar: A Photographic Journey by Milan Moudgill follows in the footsteps of Swedish explorer Sven Hedin’s 1906-08 visit to the Kailash-Manasarovar area in Tibet, when he discovered the sources of the Brahmaputra, Indus and Sutlej, and mapped the holy lake Manasarovar, and the Indian ascetic Swami Pranavananda who followed 30 years later, and challenged these discoveries.
