Loose Woman – directed and performed by Maya Krishna Rao – is the travels of a woman through life and across media. These are short, sharp glimpses of a woman who finds herself in situations that push, pull and stretch her skin, as it were. Her looseness is also conjured, coaxed and driven by different mediums – theatre, sound, and camera. For this performance, Maya collaborated with sound designer Suman Balakrishnan and video designers Santana Issar and Anuj Chopra.
