Gallery G presents Mystical Strokes, an exhibition featuring five of Vasudeo Gaitonde’s finest paper works from the 1960s and 1970s. These rare pieces are on loan from a private collector.
Born in 1924 in Nagpur, Vasudeo Santu Gaitonde was a visionary artist and one of the most influential figures in Indian modern art. Renowned for his abstract and contemplative paintings, Gaitonde’s artistic journey was marked by a profound exploration of color, form, and spirituality.
The exhibition is open at Gallery G from July 14 to July 27.
