Anupa Mehta Arts presents a solo show by New Delhi based artist, Chetnaa, titled P = 4L {Deconstructing Square Space}.
The show features three series of monochromatic minimal works, exploring the tendencies and potentialities of the square form. ‘Presence | Absence’, ‘Ombres’ and ‘Lines in a Grid’, the series being presented deconstruct an elemental shape: that of the square. A conscious effort to reduce the pictorial meaning to its bare essence is crucial to the artist’s work.
