Ashmolean Museum marks India’s 75th anniversary with Postcards from Home; an installation of 47 postcards featuring photographs of Indian and Pakistani artists, taken by Manisha Gera Baswani.
Baswani is a multidisciplinary artist who weaves expressions of painting, photography, sculpture, and writing within her work. The artists featured by her in Postcards from Home are each bound by a common history of the partition of India, and their framings prompt viewers to partake in their shared connection.
