Gallery Art Positive is pleased to present, Pravah, a solo exhibition of works by artist Shampa Sircar Das.
The exhibition captures the synergy and the deep symbiotic relationship between humans and nature through Das’ recent body of works that she calls Pravah or flow. In her art, characterised by soft hues and pastel flourishes, one sees a truant deer absorbed in abundant nature. She juxtaposes the human form with generous flora and fauna, one flowing into the other seamlessly. Her brush captures it all: the rivers and seas that sustain and nourish all beings, thus recreating the cosmic energy inside us and around us that is ever flowing.
