DAG New York presents Primitivism and Indian Modern Art – an exhibition featuring works by some of India’s greatest artists.

Curated by Giles Tilotson, the showcase includes F.N. Souza, Jamini Roy, K.S. Kulkarni, MF Husain, Jogen Chowdhury, Madhvi Parekh, Ramkinkar Baij, George Keyt, and Rabindranath Tagore, while exploring the diverse range, moods and styles of primitivism in India art, with artists practising entirely in that style while others are experimenting with it in part, or sporadically.
