Gallery Art.Motif presents an exhibition of works by Rajendra Dhawan.

Born in 1936, Rajendra Dhawan studied at the College of Art, New Delhi, from 1953-1958; and at the École des Beaux Arts from 1953 to 1958. He was one of the founder members of a group of artists called “The Unknown”, which held exhibitions from 1960 to 1964. Dhawan’s works have been exhibited in one man shows in India and Europe.

His work is represented in private and public collections in India, Europe and Japan, including the National Gallery of Modern Art and the Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi;  the Bharat Bhavan Museum, Bhopal; the National Foundation of Contemporary Art, Paris; and the Glenbarra Museum, Japan.

Dhawan lived and worked in Paris since 1970, till his death in 2012.

Dates : April 25 to May 31, Monday to Saturday; The gallery will remain open on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Timings : 10 am to 6 pm.
