Making rope from plant fibers is one of the oldest and most valuable survival skills. The earliest ropes were created by twisting and braiding lengths of plant material. This workshop will provide attendees with a hands-on demonstration of how to craft ropes using sustainable materials while preserving the knowledge of this endangered craft.
