Art Tree presents Samanvay, a group show featuring folk and tribal art such as Gond, Madhubani, Phad, Sanjhi and Warli.
They represent living disciplines and are constantly evolving and regenerating themselves. These styles have matured to include traditional aesthetics and encompass contemporary visuals and attitudes. Nature is an intrinsic aspect of both Tribal and Folk Art. The show endeavours to present an areligious aspect of these art forms whereby highlighting the core expression of Nature at its best. The art forms presented while adhering to their essence are making a valiant effort to merge the traditional with the neoteric.
