Gallery Espace is presents Shakekthu Shalpaka, a solo exhibition by Manjunath Kamath. The exhibition will comprise a body of large works — sculptures in Kamath’s chosen medium of terracotta, as well as paintings on canvas and paper — conceived in response to Bikaner House’s commodious, high-ceilinged rooms and arched doorways. Complex, layered, and many faceted, Kamath’s works in Shakekthu Shalpaka signal the intrepid experimentation of an artist pushing the boundaries of his craft.
