Sakshi Gallery presents State of Mind: Between Dysphoria and Hope curated by Sayali Mundye that attempts to highlight mental health via the artworks produced by eight Indian contemporary artists during the pandemic across three sections that look at our perception of self, our functioning in relationship to the spaces we inhabit and our resilience.The exhibition presents a set of new artworks developed by Ratna Gupta, Salik Ansari, Pavan Kavitkar and Ankit Ravani over a period of months for this show. Ratna Gupta’s works on paper showcases a shift in materials with embroidery thread, lint, dyes in the works Suspension, An incomplete letter and What will we make of it. Salik Ansari presents a triptych of lenticular prints and video works.
