Galerie Mirchandani + Steinruecke is delighted to present an exhibition featuring ceramics by Sukhdev Rathod, paintings by Devi Seetharam and prints by Ketaki Sarpotdar. Rathod’s new series comprises of individual pieces as well as installations, each one carefully uncovering natural formations through a lengthy firing process, allowing the fragility of nature’s impressions to be held within recesses. Devi Seetharam paintings add another dimension to the show in tackling the deep-rooted issues of patriarchy and male dominance within her community, while Sarpotdar’s prints convey the artists’ interest in human behaviour and imagination.
