Arts of the Earth is pleased to present The Creator and His World: Classical and Contemporary Living Traditions of India, a group exhibition bringing together artworks from different genres across the length and breadth of India.
These rich traditions are symbolic of the cultural and social influences witnessed by the artists over several years. The exhibition will showcase works depicting the ’Creator’ or deities in works belonging to genres like Pichhwai and Kalighat paintings. The ‘Creator’s World’ in genres like Kalamkari, Bhil, Pichwai, Madhubani, Warli, Rogan, Kerala mural and Gond art. The participating artists include Manish Soni, Arun Sharma, Amit Mahadev Dombre, Naresh Bhoye, MV Pramod, N. Harinath, Dilip Shyam and Rajendra Kumar Shyam.
