Sunaparanta, Goa Centre for the Arts, Patrimonio Gallery and Grosvenor Gallery present The Rainforest, featuring new works by artist Senaka Senanayake.
This landmark exhibition will mark his first exhibition amongst the luscious landscape of Goa. Goa’s scenery, along with its tropical monsoon climate is much like that of Senaka’s hometown of Colombo, Sri Lanka. In recent years, Senaka has concentrated his art as a way for environmental advocacy. By highlighting the beauty of rainforests, he aims to promote public awareness of environmental degradation in his native Sri Lanka and around the world. Senaka’s paintings show an ardent passion for nature’s beauty and a great knowledge of the flora and fauna of the rainforest.
