Emami Art presents The Salts of Many Seas by Ali Akbar PN, an exhibition showcasing recent paintings, photographs, sculptures, digital prints, a video, and a book by the artist. Akbar’s work is derived through an intricate study of historical artefacts, architectural relics, and socio-political events. What emerges is a narrative of oceanic and geographical history and how it moulds political and cultural dynamics over time. These creations seem to be a link between the past and the present and have a sort of nostalgia about them.
