Since its founding in 2005, Aakriti Art Gallery has always strived to showcase the finest selection of Indian modern and contemporary art. At its Kolkata space, the gallery runs exhibitions and programmes including workshops, art camps and seminars. Aiming to engage with a cross-section of audiences and new collectors, the gallery has expanded into an online shop, selling works across categories from traditional paintings, sculptures, prints and graphics to new media like conceptual art, video art, installations and experimental art.
