Aravani Art Project is a cis-women and Transgender people’s collective creating safe spaces for alternate voices. It aims to embrace the Transgender Community by creating consciousness and well being through art, awareness & social participation, while also creating spaces that encourage exchange, discussion, openness and debate surrounding gender identities. Their large wall murals advocate the idea of reclaiming spaces in the society, raising awareness and creating a voice for the community. Aravani Art Project’s mural along the walkway into the fair is supported by Saffronart Foundation.
