Ashiesh Shah

Ashiesh Shah works at the intersection of architecture, craftsmanship and sculptural design, bringing together geometry, materiality and a refined Wabi-Sabi sensibility. Collaboration with artisans across India remains central to his practice, engaging traditional techniques such as Channapatna lacquer, Naga cane, hand-hammered brass and Jaipur marble.

Rooted in cosmic symbolism and elemental form, Shah’s work distills objects to their essential geometry while holding space for cultural memory, experimentation and the tactile resonance of the handmade. Through this approach, he positions design as a space of reflection — where material and meaning converge, and craft evolves as a living creative force.
