Founded in 2003 and based in Mumbai’s Colaba Art District, Chatterjee & Lal is an important node in the city’s maturing art scene. Whilst the gallery has always focused on the work of emerging and mid-career artists, its recent programming has expanded to include historical material and previously unknown artists from the 20th century.
