Gunjan Gupta
Gunjan Gupta is a pioneer in collectible design, celebrated for her inventive, playful approach that blurs the boundaries between art, design and craft. A strong advocate for Indian craftsmanship, her works have been showcased at leading international platforms including Design Miami, Sotheby’s London, the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, as well as the Kochi-Muziris Biennale and the Venice Architecture Biennale. Gunjan has also curated landmark exhibitions such as Time-less at the Experimental Design Biennale in Lisbon and Vernacular Wonderland at the Révélations Biennale at the Grand Palais in Paris.
Her designs are held in major collections including MAD Paris, the Museum of Decorative Arts, M+ Hong Kong and the Vitra Design Museum. In 2019, she launched IKKIS, a contemporary homeware brand rooted in Indian craft traditions, which has since been recognised internationally — winning the AlUla Design Award at Paris Design Week 2023 and featured at Milan Design Week 2024.
