Located in the heart of Gurugram city, Museo Camera is the largest not-for-profit crowd funded Centre for Photographic Arts in South East Asia. A unique public – private partnership between India Photo Archive Foundation and The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, Museo Camera is one of its kind in India with 18,000 sq.ft of space dedicated to the art and history of Photography. It comprises of a Museum which houses a collection of over 2,500 cameras & photographic equipment dating back to the 1850s. Besides the Museum collection, Museo Camera houses studio spaces, exhibition galleries showcasing contemporary art practices, a reference library, a fully functional darkroom and a café on premises.
