Set up in an atelier format in 2009, Pichvai Tradition & Beyond focuses on the revival of the century-old tradition of pichvai paintings by making it aesthetically and culturally relevant to contemporary times without ceding on the tradition’s ethos. With the objective of promoting the tradition among contemporary audiences, the gallery hosts exhibitions of works made by the atelier and iconic heritage pieces from private collections.
