Gallery Veda presents a show by five artists called Genisis Artists Group, Ganesh Selvaraj, Venkatesh Balasubramaniam, Prabakaran Swaminathan, Narayana Veeraraghavan, and Alagarraja Ponnaiya.
A couple of years ago, a banana got sold for $1,20,00,000 at Art Basel. The banana was fresh and edible, and a fellow artist ate it and performed the role of the hungry artist and that his act was also a form of art. With time, art evolves and is ever-transforming, liberating itself from all boundaries of canvas, colours and mediums. A group of artists who have always pushed the limits and stayed current with changing art trends, is the Genisis Artists Group (GAG). The show titled 5 Art Bananas is a showcase of their latest work.
