A quiet harvest: SIDHANT KUMAR

February 8, 2026 2:30 pm — 3:15 pm

Central Walkway, NSIC Grounds, New Delhi, India

Emerging from Sidhant Kumar’s ongoing research into farming, survival, and landscapes under slow ecological stress, this performance considers agriculture as an act of endurance within damaged and contaminated land. The harvest is described as ‘quiet’ because destruction unfolds gradually and becomes normalised, nourishment is replaced by toxicity and legitimised through administrative systems and records. The work reflects on land treated as expendable, and on farming reduced to survival rather than regeneration.
