The Crites Collection presents Bhumijan: Artists of the Earth, an exhibition of Indian indigenous art.
The 150 drawings and paintings in the show come from The Crites Collection which was created over the last forty-five years by Niloufar and Mitchell Abdul Karim Crites, an art historian and collector. The exhibition will include the work of great folk and tribal masters like Jangarh Singh Shyam, Jivya Soma Mashe, Bhuri and Lado Bai among other contemporary practitioners.
