Continuum explores the notion of a propelling energy that gains momentum and builds in magnitude as it moves forward. This group exhibition aims to contextualize individuals’ experiences and progression within the scope of collective consciousness.
Works from the multidisciplinary field – printmaking, painting, and sculpture are exhibited side-by-side, navigating new ways of seeing and participating in developing as the French painter Paul Cezanne called ‘little sensations,’ allowing the artists to document their surroundings in their unique styles, rendering new contexts and meanings. Creating a dialogue, and a conversation that allows the artworks to overlap with one another, orienting the viewer towards each artist’s practice singularly.
The exhibition also attempts to look at the phenomenological mode of cognizance grounded in a ‘being together in ‘space’ and ‘becoming’. Continuum presents these contemporary artists as the evolutionary embodiment and unveils our commitment to bringing fresh voices. Rachana Badrakia, Satyanarayan Gavara, Subhakar Tadi, and Vijay Kadam would be showcasing their works for the very first time in Hyderabad.
