Museo Camera presents Drishti – 75 Years of Indian Image Making, a historic exhibition that celebrates the 75th anniversary of Indian independence. Featuring works from 82 eminent photographers, from photojournalists who started their career in the 1940s to the modern photographers of the present day, the exhibition highlight India’s journey as a nation since 1947, but also how photography continues to shape the visual narrative and cultural landscape of modern India. The exhibition is a kaleidoscope of the diverse image-making traditions India has produced since Independence, and celebrates the medium and the artists practicing the artform.
