National Gallery of Modern Art, Delhi, presents an exhibition – Kshetragya, on the National Treaures, Ramkinkar Baij, and Benode Bihari Mukherjee.
Kshetragya celebrates the ouevre of ten national treasures, who were torchbearers of Indian modernism. One is able to observe the progression in Indian art over time, as significant cultural shifts were taking place in the country.
The exhibition is part of the Delhi Art Week, a week-long celebration of the rich diversity of Indian contemporary and modern art in Delhi, taking place across four art zones, 37 galleries, two museums and several participating institutions.
