Madras Art Weekend (MAW) celebrates the best of contemporary art in Chennai on November 11, 12th and 13th, 2022.
Madras Art Weekend is a collaborative event to bring together the entire art fraternity on a single platform, with the aim of exploring the vast potential of emerging and established artists in Chennai. The aim is to reinvent the narrative and to bring forth a fresh energy into the art scene in the city and the south. The focus of MAW is to create a synergy, dialogue, interaction and a platform that is relevant, experiential and sensorial. From art talks by prominent artists talking about their practices and galleries engaging with art enthusiasts, the endeavour is to bring together an entire fraternity of art and design enthusiasts in order to broaden the reach and relevance of contemporary art.
