Rahaab Allana, Annapurna Garimella, Jyotindra Jain and  Nilima Sheikh will be in conversation with Mortimer Chatterjee, editor of Moving Focus, India published by The Shoestring Publisher and celebrate its release. The book presents new perspectives on modern and contemporary art. 54 nominators comprising artists, critics, curators and academics were asked to each select 5 artworks made since 1900 and to write 100 words about why that work is important to them. The discussion will engage with the choices of the nominators as well as thinking more broadly about the state of art appreciation in India today.
