Gallerie Ganesha presents Sonorous Bliss, a solo exhibition by contemporary sculptor Ratan Krishna Saha. Featuring a series of bulls, the exhibition presents a new metaphor that goes beyond the rugged virality that we associate with the animal. The bull has been found in many ‘avatars’, has been recreated, painted, carved, etched in multitudinous forms in Indian arts across ages. Bulls have also been worshiped. The bull as Nandi, the vahana of Shiva, has stood the testament of time, being sculpted in temples and monuments, where he sits as a guardian deity.
The bulls of Ratan Krishna Saha offer a blissful visual experience while taking us into a journey to our inner selves.
