079 Stories presents The Journey Within — a solo show by contemporary artist Kakoli Sen. The show sees the artist venture into her own memories. One finds a gentle breezy nostalgia that is rendered subtly through old letters, windowpanes, compass, hourglass, a grandfather clock ticking off and more. 079 Stories takes viewers on an artistic journey through assemblages presented by the artist. And most importantly, the works portray women reaching out into space, perhaps for freedom, perhaps to lend a helping hand, or then again perhaps to strive & touch the stars.
