Vadehra Art Gallery presents The Patience of Ordinary Things, its first-ever sculpture exhibition across both their contemporary and modern gallery spaces, featuring sculptures across media, installations, ceramics, along with suites of small paper works.
The show features a number of names in contemporary South Asian art –including Atul Dodiya, Shilpa Gupta, Praneet Soi, Biraaj Dodiya, N.S. Harsha, Shailesh B.R. and Osman Yousefzada as well as Indian modernists including Krishen Khanna, J. Swaminathan, Sadanand Bakre, Bhupen Khakhar, Gulammohammed Sheikh, Rameshwar Broota, Ravinder Reddy, Sankho Chaudhuri, Himmat Shah, Mrinalini Mukherjee, Nagji Patel, Dhruva Mistry and Amar Nath Sehgal –using a shared formal and thematic inquiry to explore India’s art historical scene along with its contemporary.
