Galerie Mirchandani + Steinrueke presents a solo exhibition of works by Shreya Pate titled Untold.
An architect by training, Pate worked for three years at a Mumbai architectural firm before studying architecture at the RCA in London. In this show, we see her intense scrutiny of the built object and a questioning of, not without irony, the truth of built structures. An oversized jug and container, a miniaturized step well, a narrow, unusable swing, an unevenly structured clothesline— Untold presents a charming and enigmatic world to the viewer.
